A Different Kind of Journey.

This isn’t like fighting Ganondorf. This isn’t like crossing time and space with just the swipe of a sword. This isn’t like that, this is even more complicated and far more important than that.

This is a fight with himself, to be himself. This is Link shrugging off himself to try and see what hides behind the blue eyes and the green clothes. Maybe if he manages to understand that, he’ll understand other things. Things like red eyes and a soft spoken voice, the rough callused of smaller hands and the dusty quality of hair that’s anything like his own. Things that make him wonder, that he misses dearly even if he’s not sure he should, things that come and go with the melodious tones of a harp and the dry scent of the desert.

This isn’t like saving the world, this is a different kind of journey, into the mythical lands of ‘I love you’ and ‘don’t leave me behind’, where Link tries to understand just who Sheik of the Sheikah might, could be.
